Behind the Scenes – Creating “Modern Vintage”

I am delighted that this month’s Vintage Life Magazine has published my vintage inspired fashion shoot of Antonia from bookings.com

Shot in my very own living room, Antonia wears vintage dresses from the fifties and sixties from Resurrection Boutique, accessorised with a hand-bag that my mum bought for my nan in the late 1960s when she was a young girl herself. I love bringing the past into the present through these clothes.

Val C did a great job on the hair and make-up especially the Victory Rolls, which are pretty tricky on such long fine hair.

Check out some behind the scenes pics from the shoot – anyone that knows me will wonder how I grew so tall standing next to Antonia?!

Some other pics from the day, all original clothing from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
